This Dunhuang style Hanfu set for women fuses ancient inspiration with casual elegance. The top features a flat collar (“Tanling”) in a short shirt form, faithfully reproducing the exotic symmetrical lion motif from historical Western regions. Red-orange trim edges – on the collar, sleeves, and hem – echo the weathered cinnabar tones of Mogao cave murals, adding a striking visual contrast.
The pants are a modernized eight-part lantern style in soft beige with faint vintage prints that resemble aged manuscripts. The hem is pleated and printed with a yellow-to-orange gradient, resonating fluidly with the shirt’s vibrant tones.
