Description

Luo Shui Tang Dynasty Restoration Hanfu

Inspired by the gold–silver ware motifs excavated from Hejia Village, this
Tang Dynasty restoration Hanfu recreates the cultural elegance of
the High Tang period. The dress features a classic ruqun silhouette,
museum-level embroidery, and graceful multi-layer oversleeves that echo the natural
flow of ancient textile art.

Historical Inspiration

The garment design draws directly from the luxurious patterns of
Hejia Village relics — including floral, curling cloud, and auspicious motifs
commonly found on Tang gold–silver ware. These elements are reinterpreted using
modern textile techniques while preserving the visual richness and symbolic
meaning of Tang aesthetics.

Fabric & Craftsmanship

1. Human-Silk Embroidery (人丝绣花)

The embroidery thread mimics natural silk with a soft and refined texture.
Compared with standard synthetic embroidery, this material has better sheen and
higher visual fidelity, making it suitable for restoration-level Hanfu.
Caution: the white areas may absorb color; wash separately from dark fabrics.

2. Double-Layer Skirt Fabric

The skirt uses a lightly shimmering textured fabric, soft yet structured, enhancing
drape and movement. The inner lining prevents transparency and maintains a smooth
silhouette even under bright lighting.

3. Draped Snow-Gauze Oversleeves

The large sleeves are made of snow-gauze chiffon with excellent softness and
breathability. Suitable for spring and summer, they retain a strong vertical flow
while remaining comfortable for extended wear.

Design Details

  • Semi-fixed shoulder ties for easy wearing
  • Integrated skirt lining to avoid transparency
  • Large-volume sleeve and skirt panels for authentic Tang drape
  • Color palette inspired by museum relic motifs
  • Embroidered waistband reflecting Tang craftsmanship
